Galbally National School.
NZEB compliance refers to a building that has a very high-energy performance. The government directive states that the nearly zero or very low amount of energy required should be covered to a very significant extent by energy from renewable sources, produced on-site or nearby.
Galbally National School, on the Limerick / Tipperary border currently caters for 120 children with pre-school and after school care facilities. We were appointed by the board of management to provide a turn-key 85m² Classroom including civil works and connection of services.
This classroom was fitted with an energy efficient air to air heat pump and with LED light panels throughout, in line with Department of Education specifications and TGD L:2017, to reduce the primary energy demand of the building and create a comfortable learning environment. This Modular Classroom was designed, built and installed by our team well within the required timeframe to achieve an A3 Building Energy Rating (BER).
As we manufacture Modular Buildings at our factory in Limerick, we can tailor them to match your particular specification. For more details on our Modular Classrooms, click here.
