Modulacc are delighted to announce sponsorship of  long-distance swimmer Daragh Horgan. This sponsorship further strengthens the company’s commitment to supporting local athletes, on track for competing on the world stage.

Daragh,16, from Newtown, Castletroy and a student in Castletroy College, first started swimming at the age of four. He continued to progress with Limerick Swimming Club and is a member of the Irish National Squad. As a result, Daragh received the Irish Long Distance Swimmers Award, ILDSA, for National Junior Swimmer of the Year.

Daragh trains indoor in the National Centre Limerick, in UL ,which has Ireland’s first Olympic size swimming pool. Only a short distance away in Killaloe is where his outdoor training for Open Water Swimming preparation takes place.

Modulacc Owner, Tony Chawke, said “We have committed a guaranteed annual contribution to Daragh, through Swim Ireland’s Adopt-an-Athlete Program, as he continues his journey to Olympic selection in 2028. The whole team in Modulacc are seriously impressed by Daragh’s commitment and dedication to his swimming, while balancing school life.”
